The Power Plant is a biomass-only power plant with an output capacity of 74,950 kW that uses 100% wood pellets as its power generation fuel. The amount of power generation is approximately 520 GWh per year and all of them are sold to Chugoku Electric Power Transmission & Distribution Co., Inc., based on the Feed-in tariffs scheme (FIT) for renewable energy.
Along with supplying wood pellets for fuel to the Power Plant, JAPEX, by cooperating with other sponsors and related companies, will contribute to expanding the use of electricity derived from renewable energy sources with low environmental impact and developing the local economies with the understanding and support of local stakeholders.
