JAPEX selected as the KENKO Investment for Health Stock Selection three years in a row and recognized as “White 500” for the sixth time (Notice)

Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. (JAPEX) has been selected for the third year in a row as one of the 2026 KENKO Investment for Health Stock Selection, jointly taken an initiative by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE). In addition, JAPEX has been recognized for the sixth time as Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health "White 500".

Health management is health care of employees and others considering from the business management perspective and the strategic implementation of such care. Companies listed on the TSE with excellent health management are selected as the KENKO Investment for Health Stock Selection. Likewise, Recognition Program for the Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health is a system to honor companies, including large corporations and small and medium-sized companies, that practice excellent health management based on activities in line with local health issues and on health promotion initiatives fostered by the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. The top 500 companies in the large corporation category of the Program are recognized as "White 500".

Based on the belief that consideration for the health of employees contributes to the growth and sustainability of the company, JAPEX has established a health management promotion system, which includes external organizations such as health insurance associations, to support and promote the health of employees in accordance with the JAPEX Group Code of Ethics and Conduct, the JAPEX Health Management Declaration, and the JAPEX HSE Policy. In the health management approach, JAPEX has identified management issues to be solved through health management and health issues that will lead to the solution of these management issues. And then, JAPEX formulated the JAPEX Health Management Strategy Map visualized the health management strategy as a story, and is working to solve issues.
