United States: Tight Oil and Gas Development (Operator)

JAPEX is actively and strategically developing and producing tight oil (shale oil) and tight gas (shale gas) as an operator in the Niobrara and Codell formations in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin in Colorado and Wyoming, USA. The interests in this project are held through our local subsidiary, Peoria Resources, LLC (Peoria).

History

• March 2025: Concluded a collaboration agreement with partners to acquire and operate assets in the US E&P business through JAPEX's overseas consolidated subsidiary JAPEX (U.S.) Corp. (JUS), and established Peoria with JUS and the partners.
• February 2026: Through Peoria Resources Acquisition Company, LLC, acquired the entire interest in Verdad Resources Intermediate Holdings LLC, which holds tight oil and gas assets in Colorado and Wyoming, USA, from Verdad Resources Feeder LLC.
