JAPEX's domestic oil and gas fields are located in Hokkaido, Akita, Yamagata and Niigata prefectures. Our priorities are to maintain and expand domestic reserves, while putting in place a reliable system for supplying crude oil and natural gas over the long term. Accordingly, JAPEX will effectively combine E&P aimed at adding new large-scale gas reserves with the expansion of reserves in areas near existing oil and gas fields. These activities will center on the prefectures of Hokkaido, Akita and Niigata. JAPEX is aggressively pursuing these E&P activities in line with plans.

In supplying gas as a part of our core domestic natural gas business, we aim to cover a broad marketing area while expanding sales volume by enhancing our transport network with natural gas pipelines, tank trucks and railways.
